Trade, Bulk Paperback and Collectible Purchases

K2Books.com is always iinterested in purchasing new stock and buys books from fellow traders and private individuals. If you have books to sell and think that we may be interested then you can send us a message via our online shop. Please do not send us any actual books unless we have made a provisional offer, requested them and given you a reference code to include. If you have any books, comics, cards or other items that you think we may be interested in purchasing then please contact us in the first instance via the form in our online shop. Please include all relevant details of the items being offered for sale, including quantity, type of books, condition, your locality and asking price if you have one.

!!! Please be aware that we are not buying any additional stock at the present moment. Messages offering books for sale may go unanswered !!!

What do we buy and how much do we pay?

Assorted Books in Bulk - popular fiction, biography, history, general interest, leisure etc. We do not expect books to be sorted but we do expect condensed books (Reader's Digest), free gift or book club editions, encyclopedias, damaged / incomplete editions and the likes to have been removed.

£30+ per 1000. We will consider bulk trades in and collection of batches of 500-1500 used books located within 20 miles of our Manchester bulk storage base in the M35 postcode area.

£50+ per 1000. Regular suppliers may deliver such batches to us at our bulk storage base by prior arrangement.

Paperback and Hardback Literature - English literature and world literature in translation.

£25+ per 100. We will consider all quantities of good quality used paperback and hardback literature including novels, poems and plays for collection/courier delivery. No damaged, incomplete, hand annotated, children's or abridged texts will be accepted. Budget classics editions (Wordsworth, Dover Press etc.) are purchased at a lower rate and should be sorted separately. UK sellers only.

£9.50 per 100. Budget classics editions (Wordsworth, Dover Press etc.) UK sellers only.

New and Remaindered Books - Non-fiction including hobbies, interests and general leisure.

£50+ per 1000. We will consider new / remaindered books by single pallet for courier delivery. UK sellers only.

Collectable Books and Early Editions

Most of our collectable editions are purchased at auction or offline trades but sellers are welcome to send us details of any early / unusual editions that they wish to offer K2Books.com. EU sellers only and collection/postal delivery.

Comics, Newspapers, Postcards and Curiosities

Sellers of other items such as collectible newspapers, comics and postcards are welcome to send us details of any individual items or small collections and we will consider making an offer. EU sellers only and collection/postal delivery.

Miscellaneous

Sellers with a small number of good quality paperback or hardback books, cards, papers or comics are welcome to bring them to the K2Books.com stall on any of our book fair / market days and we will consider making an offer.

How do we pay you?

We pay immediate cash or cheque (as preferred) for items delivered to us, collected locally or purchased at a fair/market.

Distance sellers may be paid by PayPal or UK cheque sent out within 3 working days of our satisfactory receipt of books/other items corresponding to seller's description and/or photographs on the basis of which our offer was made. Estimated delivery costs are factored into our provisional offers and are paid by the vendor.

All sellers are liable to arrange and pay for the return delivery of any items sent to us in error, incorrectly described or otherwise rejected. We can accept no liability for any loss of or damage caused to items whilst in transit. Please ensure that any consignment is adequately tracked and insured.
